Want to know a little more about me?

here's my story

If I were asked what is most important to me, I would say: Jesus, family, being a daughter, being an auntie, enjoying every day, teaching and coaching others, and not obsessing over anything! (I actually really dislike the word ‘obsessed’ in any sense)

I have been an athlete and fitness enthusiast pretty much my whole life. After my basketball career ended with back injuries in college I didn’t know what was next and it took years for me to figure it out.

First, I found Jesus… for myself! My desire to know more about God and the Bible came in my 20s. At the same time, in my body I was working through pain, frustrations, weight gain, unhealthy weight loss, self-esteem issues, body image struggles, and everything else that follows.

Then I found some direction. In 2008 I kicked up my own experiment with my discipline at the gym and what I was eating. Then, with the urging of a couple people in the industry I did it: I strutted across the stage in that sparkly suit and clear high heels.

Where am I now?
I love my life! I am focused on Jesus and His purpose for me. I dream of helping other women find their confidence in themselves through Him. I have created a healthy lifestyle for me that I can maintain. My workout regimen and my eating are not extremely strict nor extremely perfect, which makes them maintainable for me in my life.

I enjoy long walks on the… well, anywhere. I strive to find ways to exercise with what I have and teach others the same. If all I have is 15 minutes and I’m barefoot, you better believe when that timer goes I will be dripping sweat and sit down in my living room proud of my accomplishment!

My passion lies in my purpose: To help women create healthy lifestyles they can maintain. Focusing on igniting your spirit, elevating your mind, and challenging your body.
